SAP HANA Studio Navigation & Add System:

How to navigate SAP HANA Studio: After successfully installed SAP HANA in your system, then go to

Start à

All Programs à

SAP HANA à

SAP HANA Studio.

How to Add System?

When double click on SAP HANA Studio you will get below screen.

Right click on Navigator screen then click on Add System.

We will get one popup window. Here you need to enter the Host Name, Instance Number and Select English Language then click on next.

In the next window enter User name and Password.

Then click on next and finish. Check the navigation menu will see the system which you added.

In the window from HANA Studio (Administration Console) tool bar having all the prospective setup.

Hear based on user name automatically created “schema”. Schema will have two main sections.

1)    Catalog

2)    Content

Catalog contains Tables and Views…..

Content contains Attribute views, Analytics views, calculated views, Analytical Privileges and Functions….

Catalog:

Ø  These Catalogs contains all database schemas and these will created automatically when user created.

Ø  Each Schema contained Functions, column views, views and tables. And also each catalog have authorization folder.

Content:

Ø  Content having various information model packages.

Ø  Each package contains a folder for Attribute view, Analytic view, calculated view, Procedures and Analytic privilege.

v  We have an option for customizing for Navigation tree in HANA Studio through using Customizing Icon. We can select the through check box.

v  And we have option for reset the perceptive for default settings.
