Data Provisioning:        

For load physical tables with data we can use replication method. Three types of replication methods we have.

a) ETL Based replication.

b) SAP Landscape transformation Infrastructure (Trigger based).

c) Log Based replication.

* By using the load controller, we can load all data from source SAP ERP system to SAP HANA in-memory database for selected tables.

* By using Sybase replication server, we can maintain data up to date with the source system tables for the selected tables.

* By using SLT based application (SAP Landscape transformation), we can maintain data up to date with the source system tables for the selected tables.

a) ETL Based Replication: - for the ETL based replication we will use SAP Data Services.

à Data Services tool is a ETL tool which can helps to transfer data from one database to another database. Using by ETL tool is easiest way to transfer database to HANA.

à Extraction Transformation Load (ETL) based data replication uses SAP BODS to load the relevant business data from the source system , SAP ERP and replicate it to the target (HANA database).

will have three type of sources to extract data:

* SAP Source (ERP Systems)

* Non-SAP Source.

* Flat Files.
